Soccer Recap: Washington Comes Up Short

Washington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They came up short against the Davenport North Wildcats, falling 3-0. If Washington were looking for revenge after losing 7-1 to Davenport North when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Washington's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Davenport North, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Washington will face off against Kennedy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Davenport North, they will take on Assumption at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
