Basketball Recap: Springfield Takes a Loss

Springfield and Warrensville Heights squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Springfield had to settle for second. They took a blow against the Warrensville Heights Tigers, falling 87-13. The loss leaves the Spartans still looking for their first win on the season.

Springfield's defeat dropped their record down to 0-23. As for Warrensville Heights, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-5.

Springfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Warrensville Heights, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Tigers take on the Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Warrensville Heights knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Orange likes a good challenge.
