Softball Recap: Marshall Takes a Loss

Marshall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 7-4 to the Harlan Hawks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-2 back in February.

Marshall saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Haley Herrera, who went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases.

Marshall's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Harlan, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.

Marshall has already played their next match, a 4-1 loss against Brennan on the 4th. As for Harlan, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 13-1 win against Holmes on the 4th.
