Volleyball Recap: Fort Wayne Wayne Takes a Loss

Fort Wayne Wayne extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to ten on Monday, dropping their season record down to 0-2 in the process. They lost 3-0 to the Fort Wayne North Side Legends. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Generals of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Ben Lallow paced Fort Wayne Wayne's offense, picking up six kills. Lallow got some help from Jackson Hickey and his eight assists. Jayden Harris controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Fort Wayne North Side's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. They not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since April 24, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

Oliver Than was the offensive standout of the match as he had 12 digs and two aces. Those two aces gave him a new career-high.

Fort Wayne Wayne didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Fort Wayne Northrop on the 10th. As for Fort Wayne North Side, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Fort Wayne Snider on the 8th.
