Recap: Haskell Haymakers vs. Oaks-Mission Warriors
Haskell stacked an eighth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 14-2 margin over the Oaks-Mission Warriors. The win was nothing new for Haskell as they're now sitting on eight straight.
Jack Petty was excellent, scoring three runs while going 2-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Lucas King, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-1.
Haskell's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-1. Those good results were due in large part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs per game. As for Oaks-Mission, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.
Haskell will head out on the road to face off against Webbers Falls at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Oaks-Mission, they will play host again on Friday to welcome Welch, where first pitch is scheduled at 1:00 p.m.
