Softball Recap: Wylie Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Wylie can now relate to. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 6-2 to the Rockwall-Heath Hawks, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Pirates' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Wylie's defeat dropped their record down to 19-10. As for Rockwall-Heath, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-16.

While Wylie had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
