Softball Game Preview: Manti Templars vs. Carbon Dinos

The Manti Templars will venture away from home to square off against the Carbon Dinos at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Manti has given up an average of 8.2 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Manti is headed into Tuesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Saturday. They came up short against Salem Hills, falling 17-2.

Manti saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Paislee Clark, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one triple and one run.

Meanwhile, Carbon came up short against Canyon View on Friday and fell 4-1. The Dinos have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Manti's defeat dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Carbon, their loss dropped their record down to 6-11.

Everything went Manti's way against Carbon when the teams last played back in March, as Manti made off with a 9-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Templars since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
