Volleyball Recap: Fresno Christian Extends Winning Streak to Three

With a playoff win on the line, Fresno Christian rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They blew past the Arvin Bears 3-0. The win was familiar territory for the Eagles, who have now won three matchups in a row.

While Fresno Christian won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-15, 27-25.

Jordyn Degroot paced Fresno Christian's offense, picking up 12 kills. Degroot got some help from Tatum Mcquown and her 20 assists. Finally, Degroot was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high five blocks.

Fresno Christian's victory bumped their record up to 24-18. As for Arvin, they moved to 26-9-3 with that loss, which also ended their nine-match winning streak.

Looking ahead, Fresno Christian will take on Sierra at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Arvin does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
