Soccer Game Preview: Prescott vs. Flagstaff

The Prescott Badgers will take on the Flagstaff Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Flagstaff took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Prescott, who comes in off a win.

Prescott will bounce into Monday's game after beating Mohave, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. Everything went Prescott's way against Mohave last Friday as Prescott made off with a 5-1 victory. Cole Schumann had the honor of scoring the game-winner for the Badgers.

Meanwhile, Flagstaff entered their contest against Boulder Creek on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Flagstaff fell 3-1 to Boulder Creek. Having soared to a lofty eight goals in the game before, the Eagles couldn't push the score so high this time.

The win made it two in a row for Prescott and bumps their season record up to 5-7. As for Flagstaff, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-5.
