Jacksonville is 0-7 against D.H. Conley since March of 2022 but things could change on Tuesday. The Cardinals will be playing in front of their home fans against the Vikings at 6:00 p.m. Jacksonville will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.
Jacksonville will bounce into Tuesday's contest after beating Havelock, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Cardinals came out on top against the Rams by a score of 5-1 on Thursday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Cardinals as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Lauren Weston spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on one hit and racked up 15 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Kendall Kellum was excellent, going 1-for-4 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. That triple was her first of the season. Bailey Weston was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two doubles and one RBI.
Meanwhile, D.H. Conley had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it seven on Friday. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against the Falcons.
D.H. Conley also let their pitcher toss all seven innings and she was also dialed-in: Kendall Howard gave up three earned runs on nine hits and racked up 12 Ks.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Lena Zurface, who went 2-for-3 with one home run. Another player making a difference was Ava Gaddis, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.
D.H. Conley pushed their record up to 9-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Jacksonville, their victory bumped their record up to 5-9.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Tuesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Jacksonville has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 11.8 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like D.H. Conley struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 11.6 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
