Softball Recap: South Greene Rebels vs. West Greene Buffaloes
South Greene never let their opponents score on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the West Greene Buffaloes and snuck past 2-0. The win was familiar territory for South Greene who now have four in a row.
South Greene's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Kortnei Bailey, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.
South Greene pushed their record up to 13-6 with that win, which was their third straight on the road. As for West Greene, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.
South Greene does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for West Greene, they will head out on the road to take on Unaka at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
