Basketball Recap: Platte County Takes a Loss

Platte County lost against Raytown back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Platte County Pirates took a 63-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Raytown Bluejays. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Platte County's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Raytown, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Platte County will be home for the holidays to greet Belton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Belton is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58.8 points per game this season. As for Raytown, they will be playing at home against Fort Osage at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
