Softball Recap: Minster Wildcats vs. Anna Rockets

They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-5 victory over the Anna Rockets. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Minster also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2022.
Mikaela Hoskins made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing 6.1 innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits. Hoskins was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI.
In other batting news, Reece Albers was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base.
On Anna's side, Brenna Cobb made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all four of her plate appearances with a triple, a run, and an RBI. Liz Staudter was another key contributor, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
