West won the last time they faced East Bakersfield and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Vikings blew past the Blades 3-0.

West's got stronger as the match went on, holding East Bakersfield to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-18, 25-17.

Alexis Dizon paced West's offense, picking up 11 kills. Dizon got some help from Jolene Quezada and her 13 assists.

Kaylie Demison and Roxanna Ramirez certainly did their best on Wednesday to avoid the loss. Demison had 31 digs and two assists, while Ramirez had 12 digs and five aces. Demison is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last ten games she's played. Brisa Castro was another key player, getting 13 digs and three aces.

West has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-8-1 record this season. As for East Bakersfield, their loss ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-7-1.
