Volleyball Recap: Champaign Central Comes Up Short

Champaign Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the DeKalb Barbs.

Champaign Central's loss dropped their record down to 4-17. As for DeKalb, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-7 record this season.

Coincidentally, Champaign Central and DeKalb will both be playing Rochester the next time they take the court. The Maroons will host the Rockets at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Barbs will play them later in the day, at 10:00 a.m.
