Stringer waltzed into their contest on Friday with five straight wins... but they left with six. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Bay Springs Bulldogs a 10-0 shutout. The Red Devils have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bulldogs, too.

Madilyn Graham made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 11 over six innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 12 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI. That's the most doubles she has posted since back in May of 2024.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Ava Jefcoat, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Natalie Prunera, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Stringer's record now sits at 13-3-2. As for Bay Springs, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Stringer will square off against Enterprise at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bay Springs, they will take on Scott Central at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
