Softball Recap: Middletown North Comes Up Short

Middletown North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Middletown South Eagles, falling 13-6. Surprisingly, this marked the fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor in this series.

Middletown North now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Middletown South, their victory was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1.

Coming up, Middletown North will head out to face off against Freehold Boro at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Middletown South, they will face off against Colts Neck at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
