Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Curry). They came out on top against the Meek Tigers by a score of  18-15  on Thursday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Yellowjackets needed considering they were shut out in their previous   contest.
 Curry let  Carson Dunagan and  Blanton Gillespie run wild. Dunagan  got on base  in five of his six plate appearances with one  home run and five  RBI, while  Gillespie  scored four  runs and  stole  Two bases. while  getting on base  in four of his six plate appearances. Gillespie is becoming a predictor of Curry's success: when he posts  at  least two  runs the team is 4-1 (and 3-8 when he doesn't). Another player making a difference was  Chase Argent, who  scored a  run while  getting on base  in two of his five plate appearances.
Curry moved to 7-9 with that  win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Meek, they dropped their record down to 5-10 with the  defeat, which was their fifth straight  on the road.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Curry will have some time to savor their  victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Hamilton at 4:30  p.m.  on April 1st. As for Meek, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Belgreen  at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday. Meek has given up an average of 9.7 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
