Basketball Recap: Jackson-Milton Now 6-2 over Last Eight Games

Jackson-Milton hadn't done well against Waterloo recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Jackson-Milton Bluejays sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 57-55 win over the Waterloo Vikings. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 56-55 back in December of 2024.

Jackson-Milton has also been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.9 points per game. As for Waterloo, they dropped their record down to 2-13 with the loss, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

Jackson-Milton will head out to square off against Chalker at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Waterloo, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Mineral Ridge at 7:00 p.m.
