The West York Area Bulldogs will square off against the Littlestown Thunderbolts at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
The home team had come away the winner the last four times West York Area and Gettysburg had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Bulldogs walked away with a 5-2 victory over the Warriors on Friday. The game was the first time the Bulldogs have beaten the Warriors on their field since April 24, 2015.

Maddie McGlynn spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on seven hits and racked up 14 Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than nine strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Addison Skimski was excellent, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. What's more, she posted two RBI, the most she's had since back in March. Another player making a difference was Kayleigh Becker, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.
Meanwhile, Littlestown entered their tilt with York County Tech on Wednesday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They didn't even let the Spartans on the board, marking their second-straight 16-0 shutout. Considering the Thunderbolts have won five matches by more than nine runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Maddy Dubbert looked comfortable as she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.
On the hitting side, Littlestown got a massive performance out of Emma Peart, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. Peart also hit a triple, marking her first of the season. Alexis Stonesifer was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-2.
Littlestown was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .588. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .323 or higher in seven consecutive contests.
Littlestown's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for West York Area, their victory ended a ten-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-8.
