Galway had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the seven-run drubbing they dealt Schoharie on Wednesday. The Golden Eagles put the hurt on the Storm with a sharp 10-3 win. For the Golden Eagles, this counts as revenge for the 6-1 victory the Storm walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Galway's win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-1. As for Schoharie, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.
