Mountain Brook came tearing into Saturday's matchup with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Daphne Trojans. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Spartans also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Adele Moffatt paced Mountain Brook's offense, picking up nine kills. Moffatt got some help from Darby Rhodes and her 21 assists. Lucy Comer controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Mountain Brook's win bumped their record up to 18-16. As for Daphne, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 24-15.

Mountain Brook wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Montgomery Academy on the 4th. As for Daphne, they have also already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Auburn on the 4th.
