Volleyball Game Preview: Central Davidson Spartans vs. Jordan-Matthews Jets

After both having extra time off, the Central Davidson Spartans and the Jordan-Matthews Jets will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court one another at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Central Davidson will be strutting in after a victory while Jordan-Matthews will be coming in after a loss.

Last Wednesday, Central Davidson earned a 3-1 win over John Yowell Academy.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-21, 23-25, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Jordan-Matthews came up short against Seaforth on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

Jordan-Matthews took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-19, 25-20.

Jordan-Matthews' defeat was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Central Davidson, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
