Basketball Recap: Clarksdale Comes Up Short

Clarksdale was the 46-40 winner over Lafayette when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Clarksdale Wildcats took a 48-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lafayette Commodores.

Clarksdale has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-14 record this season. As for Lafayette, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 15-11.

As of now, neither Clarksdale nor Lafayette have any future games scheduled.
