Soccer Game Preview: Todd County Central vs. Franklin-Simpson

Todd County Central hasn't had much luck against Franklin-Simpson recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Rebels will square off against the Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. Franklin-Simpson took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Todd County Central, who comes in off a win.

On Saturday, Todd County Central needed a bit of extra time to put away Logan County. They skirted past the Cougars 2-1. The victory was nothing new for Todd County Central as they're now sitting on three straight.

Tyler Baker and Spencer Pool scored both of Todd County Central's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 17 goals.

Meanwhile, Franklin-Simpson fell victim to Bowling Green and their airtight defense on Thursday. They came up short against the Purples, falling 8-0. Franklin-Simpson have struggled against Bowling Green recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Franklin-Simpson's loss dropped their record down to 12-7-2. As for Todd County Central, their win bumped their record up to 12-6.

Todd County Central couldn't quite get it done against Franklin-Simpson in their previous matchup back in September as they fell 4-2. Can the Rebels avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
