Soccer Recap: New Brockton Comes Up Short

The New Brockton Gamecocks lost 5-1 to the Tallassee Tigers on Friday. Things were pretty much settled by the half as the Gamecocks were already down 4-0.

New Brockton's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Tallassee, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-3-2.

New Brockton has already played their next match (against Geneva), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Tallassee, they are taking a road trip to face off against Marbury at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Tallassee knows how to get goals on the board -- the team has finished with four goals or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Marbury likes a good challenge.
