Softball Recap: Forest City Drops Season-High Score on Lackawanna Trail

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Forest City). They blew past the Lackawanna Trail Lions 19-6 on Monday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Foresters as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Forest City's win bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Lackawanna Trail, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Coming up, Forest City will challenge Susquehanna at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Sabers will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last. As for Lackawanna Trail, they will take on Blue Ridge at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Raiders have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.42 runs per game on average), something the Lions will no doubt try to take advantage of.
