Volleyball Recap: Neosho Takes a Loss

If Neosho was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of McDonald County last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wildcats came up short against the Joplin Eagles on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost four in a row.

Annabelle Rogers paced Neosho's offense, picking up nine kills. Rogers got some help from Quinlyn Depoe and her 17 assists. Audrey Emery controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Neosho's defeat dropped their record down to 7-21-2. As for Joplin, their victory bumped their record up to 5-26-1.

Neosho does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Joplin, they have already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Ozark on the 23rd.
