It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Brazos Christian can now relate to. They were beaten by the First Baptist Saints 42-15 on Friday. The Eagles' loss signaled the end of their 12-game winning streak.

Although Brazos Christian took the loss, they still got scores from Reed Jackson and Truett Goodyk.

Quincy Rheams continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for First Baptist, rushing for 142 yards and one touchdown while picking up 8.4 yards per carry, and also throwing for 67 yards and one touchdown. Rheams' rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 134 rushing yards. Bradlee Mays did his part for the team as well, scoring a TD off of 41 receiving yards.

Having lost for the first time this season, Brazos Christian fell to 12-1. As for First Baptist, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 12-1.

As of now, neither Brazos Christian nor First Baptist have any future games scheduled.
