Basketball Recap: Kylen Henderson's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Kennedy over Intrinsic Charter School Downtown Campus

Kennedy was the 83-43 winner over Intrinsic Charter School Downtown Campus when they last played one another back in February of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Kennedy Crusaders lost to the Intrinsic Charter School Downtown Campus Ravens at home by a 66-50 margin on Thursday.

Kennedy lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Kylen Henderson, who posted 13 points. Ja'Veon Sargent-Williams was another key player, putting up seven points and five assists.

It was another big night for Cedrick Carter, who dropped a double-double with 27 points and 20 boards for Intrinsic Charter School Downtown Campus. Carter has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more blocks the last 51 times he's played. Another player making a difference was Rejivieon Hudson, who went 7-for-14 en route to 15 points and five assists.

Kennedy's record is now 11-18. As for Intrinsic Charter School Downtown Campus, they pushed their record up to 21-7 with the victory, which was their 11th straight on the road.

Kennedy has already played their next match, a 73-53 loss against Mather on the 21st. Intrinsic Charter School Downtown Campus does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
