Baseball Recap: Stark County Takes a Loss

Stark County lost against Princeville back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Rebels fell just short of the Princes by a score of 8-7.

Dillon Steelman was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Khaiden Turnbull, who scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.

Stark County's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Princeville, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-7.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Princes beat Stark County by a score of 13-0 later that day.
