Baseball Recap: Pauls Valley Takes a Loss

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Pauls Valley and Plainview had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Panthers fell 8-4 to the Indians on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-0 last Friday.

Ryan Dennis made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double.

Pauls Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Plainview, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 19-13 record this season.

Pauls Valley will challenge McLoud at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Plainview, they will be playing at home against Ardmore at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Indians are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
