Softball Recap: Pelion Takes a Loss

Pelion was the 15-5 winner over Strom Thurmond when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Panthers fell 7-4 to the Rebels on Friday.

Elizabeth Sox was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Alexia Hansen was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one run and one double.

Pelion's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Strom Thurmond, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-9.

Pelion has already played their next matchup, a 9-3 loss against Batesburg-Leesville on the 21st. As for Strom Thurmond, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 10-0 defeat against Saluda on the 21st.
