It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Kapaun Mt. Carmel had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They strolled past the West Chargers with points to spare, taking the game 64-50. The victory was nothing new for the Crusaders as they're now sitting on 15 straight.

Corbin Johnson was his usual excellent self, shooting 4-for-6 from downtown and dropping a double-double with 22 points and ten rebounds. That's the most boards he has posted since back in December of 2024. Rocco Keller was another key player, shooting 58% from the field to rack up 13 points.

Kapaun Mt. Carmel's win bumped their record up to 20-3. As for West, they moved to 12-9 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Kapaun Mt. Carmel didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 55-43 victory against Andover on the 14th. West does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
