While Lake Hamilton put up some runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Hot Springs. The Lake Hamilton Wolves blew past the Hot Springs Trojans 8-0. Considering the Wolves have won four matchups by more than seven runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The win (which was Lake Hamilton's third in a row) raised their record to 5-1. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Hot Springs, they dropped their record down to 0-7 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Lake Hamilton will challenge Shiloh Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Hot Springs, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, an 11-0 victory against Little Rock Southwest on the 17th.
