Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Leicester). They enjoyed a cozy 67-52 win over the Douglas Tigers on Friday. The Wolverines haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Despite the loss, Douglas saw an underclassman step up: freshman Tadhg Higgins posted 20 points. Those 20 points gave Higgins a new career-high. Parker Vincent was another key player, putting up ten points.

Leicester's win bumped their record up to 8-10. As for Douglas, they dropped their record down to 1-17 with the defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Leicester wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 47-35 loss against Hopedale on the 15th. As for Douglas, they have also already played their next game, a 74-35 defeat against St. Paul on the 17th.
