Volleyball Recap: Julie Aller and Heidi Mondragon Secure Win for Center

Center had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Lincoln on Thursday. The Cougars put the hurt on the Fighting Zebras with a sharp 3-0 victory. This was a revenge game for the Cougars: when they faced off against the Fighting Zebras back in September, they had to take a 3-2 loss.

Center was led to victory by Heidi Mondragon and Julie Aller. Mondragon had 13 digs and one assist, while Aller had seven digs. Those seven digs gave Aller a new career-high.

Center was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in four consecutive matchups.

Center's win bumped their record up to 5-10. As for Lincoln, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-14.
