            For the second straight game, Gustine will face off against Le Grand. The Reds will be playing at home against the Bulldogs  at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few  runs on average (Gustine 3.8, Le Grand 3.7) so any  runs scored will be well earned.
Gustine barely beat Le Grand the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Reds put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp  9-3 victory on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Reds, who have now won ten matchups by six  runs or more  so far this season.
 Alexander Quezada and  Jake Campbell made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound,  Quezada   pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Meanwhile,  Campbell   struck out six batters over  five innings while giving up  three earned runs off   nine  hits (and only one walk). He has been consistent : he hasn't  tossed less than six  strikeouts in six consecutive appearances. At bat,  Quezada  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-4, while  Campbell  got on base  in four of his five plate appearances with three  RBI, one  stolen base,  and one  double.

 In other batting news,  Lucas Malone and  Frank Silveira did most of the damage at the plate:  Malone  scored three  runs while going 2-for-3, while  Silveira  scored two  runs while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances. Those  three  runs gave  Malone a new career-high.
 Gustine is  on a roll lately: they've  won 11 of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record  this season. Those  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 8.9 runs over those games. As for Le Grand, they moved to 10-4 with that  defeat, which also ended their seven-game winning streak.
