Soccer Recap: Benet Academy Continues Home Dominance on Thursday

After failing to score in their last match, Benet Academy made sure to put some goals up on the board against Montini Catholic on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 5-0 margin over the Broncos. Given Benet Academy's advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 40th, while Montini Catholic are ranked 246th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Benet Academy hit Montini Catholic with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Natalie Grover (2), Ashley Polanco, Allison Perrino, and Keira Stone.

Benet Academy pushed their record up to 11-5-2 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 33 goals over those seven games.
