Batesville lost to Jennings County back in May of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Bulldogs walked away with a 6-3 win over the Panthers.

Batesville has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Jennings County, their defeat was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 7-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Batesville will head out to take on Rushville at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Lions have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.92 runs per game on average), something the Bulldogs will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Jennings County, they will take on Seymour at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
