Softball Recap: North Edgecombe Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact North Edgecombe can now relate to. They lost 15-0 to the Bear Grass Charter Bears on Tuesday.

North Edgecombe's defeat dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Bear Grass Charter, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 20-4.

North Edgecombe does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bear Grass Charter, they will take on North Moore on Friday. The Bears' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Mustangs have averaged an impressive 10 runs per game this season.
