Baseball Recap: Tuesday's Victory Is South River's Seventh in Last Eight Outings

South River lost to East Brunswick back in May of 2016, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Rams had just enough and edged out the Bears 3-1.

Noah Borrero was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

South River is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for East Brunswick, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-11.

Looking ahead, South River will challenge Sayreville at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. East Brunswick does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
