Basketball Recap: Cumberland County Picks Up Third Straight Win on the Road

After losing to Boyle County the last time they met, Cumberland County decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Cumberland County Panthers strolled past the Boyle County Rebels with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 47-32.

Cumberland County pushed their record up to 17-6 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.0 points over those games. As for Boyle County, their loss dropped their record down to 11-10.

Looking ahead, Cumberland County will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Glasgow at 6:00 p.m. Boyle County has already played their next matchup (against Danville Christian Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
