Bishop DuBourg came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 8-2 to the St. Louis HomeSchool P Patriots. The Cavaliers' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Bishop DuBourg's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for St. Louis HomeSchool P, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-12 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bishop DuBourg will take on Herculaneum at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for St. Louis HomeSchool P, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Union at 4:30 p.m. on May 7.
