Volleyball Recap: Falls Lake Firebirds vs. Triangle Math & Science Tigers

Falls Lake lost against Triangle Math & Science back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Firebirds fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 3-2. The Firebirds have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Forrest Boyles paced Falls Lake's offense, picking up 17 kills. Boyles got some help from Malachi Voss and his 32 assists. Finally, Samuel Phelps kept Falls Lake's defense grounded, leading the team with nine blocks.

Falls Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Triangle Math & Science, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-4.
