Basketball Game Preview: St. David Tigers vs. Patagonia Lobos

The St. David Tigers will venture away from home to take on the Patagonia Lobos at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Friday, St. David made easy work of Tombstone and carried off a 56-33 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

Meanwhile, Patagonia's game on Saturday was all tied up 17-17 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. In a tight game that could have gone either way, they made off with a 35-34 win over Ash Fork.

Patagonia's win came from a few key players St. David will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Noah Gallardo, who posted four points along with ten boards and three steals. Those ten boards gave him a new career-high. Gus Varela was another key player, putting up 11 points.

St. David's record is now 2-0. As for Patagonia, their record now sits at 7-5.

St. David took their victory against Patagonia in their previous matchup back in January by a conclusive 58-37. Does St. David have another victory up their sleeve, or will Patagonia turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
