Volleyball Recap: Northpoint Christian Academy Has No Trouble Against Providence Classical

NorthPoint Christian Academy's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Providence Classical Paladins as they made off with a 3-0 victory. For the NightHawks, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 win the Paladins walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

NorthPoint Christian Academy not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Providence Classical between 16 and 19 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-19, 25-19.

Connolly Clayton paced NorthPoint Christian Academy's offense, picking up 16 kills. Clayton got some help from Addison Garlinski and her 12 assists. Clayton was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

The victory got NorthPoint Christian Academy back to even at 4-4. As for Providence Classical, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. NorthPoint Christian Academy is set to square off against their familiar foe Sheets Memorial Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Providence Classical will challenge rival HOPE Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
