Softball Recap: Dr. Krop Takes a Loss

Dr. Krop managed to slip by Southwest the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Lightning lost 21-1 to the Eagles on Wednesday. The Lightning's defeat continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Dr. Krop's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Southwest, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dr. Krop will square off against South Dade at 3:30 p.m. on the 10th. As for Southwest, they will take on Miami at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
