Volleyball Recap: Madison Christian Beats New Hope Christian Academy for Their Fifth Straight Win

Madison Christian had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the New Hope Christian Academy Statesmen. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

One reason for the win was Madison Christian's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-22, 25-12.

Harris Jasmine paced Madison Christian's offense, picking up 16 kills. Jasmine got some help from Turner Caitlyn and her 30 assists. Finally, Jasmine was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high four blocks.

Madison Christian's win bumped their record up to 12-2. As for New Hope Christian Academy, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Madison Christian will venture away from home to face off against Tree of Life Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for New Hope Christian Academy, they will head out to take on Ohio Valley Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
