Volleyball Recap: Shadyside's Win on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

It was a proper cat-fight when Shadyside challenged Frontier on Wednesday. The Tigers blew past the Cougars 3-0. The win was nothing new for the Tigers as they're now sitting on three straight.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-12, 25-15.

Shadyside got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Ali Weatherson out in front who had 27 assists and six digs. Weatherson is crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 14 every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Aubrey Nippert, who had nine digs and six kills.

Shadyside's win bumped their record up to 7-11. As for Frontier, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season.

Shadyside will have a chance to go back-to-back against Frontier: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
